I obtained this toy on Dec 30, and used to be pleasantly shocked. I took it out of the box, and was happy that the detailing appears to be like similar to Johnny Depp. The arms and arms articulate to some degree. As far as striking hellos cutlass in his right hand, (good good fortune with that!) as a result of it is next to inconceivable to take motion. So I just put hellos cutlass in hellos scabbard, as it was once in the box. Part if his belt also broke off, this means that that there are some flimsy items of plastic on this action figure.
As a lengthy manner as his voice goes, he sounds extra like Ringo Starr of the Beatles than he does Johnny Depp. (Not to offend Ringo, the Beatles, or Beatle fans) I don't be aware of why the voice chip could not have been snippets from the POTC films with Johnny's voice. Maybe there were copyright issues, I don't be mindful of. I do understand this. I have a excellent pal who can imitate Captain Jack's voice better than the one on this action figure!
Lastly, this motion figure is in reality not a toy per say. I took this one out of the field, so that I might have a glance at it better, and take heed to the voice. I have every other Captain Jack 18 inch determine within the box. I would buy it only for collector functions. If you are going to buy an motion figure on your youngster, buy one of the most smaller ones, just like the 12 inch action figure, or 9 inch. You truly can not play with this large guy. But if you want to show hellom (either in or out of the box), then which is tremendous too.
